This new book, written by Alexander Fury and Roland Mouret himself, is a celebration of his twentieth year in fashion and a highly personal journey through his creative universe. The fashion designer shot to success with the galaxy dress, the defining look of the noughties.

Mouret never sketches, only drapes: "it's like my little party trick, give me two safety pins and a bolt of fabric, I give you a dress in five minutes," he said to British Vogue in January 2011.

This book is conceived as a series of conversations—between Alexander Fury and Mouret, and visually, between Mouret’s clothing and the women who wear it: Juliane Moore, Carey Mulligan and Rachel Weisz to name but a few.
