Different looks for joyful moments in life

In honour of Karl Lagerfeld, Met Gala

In Honour of Karl

This look was created ahead of the Met Gala, and the theme was 'In Honour of Karl', a celebration of Karl Lagerfeld.

That's why it's all black and white and it features one of my favourite bags - 'lait de Coco' and Chanel gloves that he used to wear.

It's a classic red carpet look with a bit of drama created by Philip Treacy's beautiful headpiece.

Hello Spring!

It's that time of year again, when flowers bloom and birds are singing... It's all about enjoying nature's beauty!

Embrace your inner child and have fun with colourful pieces and uplifting prints. This dress is a celebration of life!

Jewellery has been a body embellishment for many centuries and it certainly elevates the whole look.

Winter's Day

It may be tempting to wear dark colours during winter, but earthy tones can also be reassuring.

A splash of yellow will definitely help dealing with the so-called winter blues, and brighten up your day.

Complete the whole look with a warm white coat and stylish sunglasses and you're ready to face the day with confidence.

New Year's style

It's good to welcome the new year with cheerful colours. Peach and green are a match made in heaven, as seen in nature.

This particular outfit is all about textures, with a particular focus on softness, from feathers to smooth faux fur.

And I couldn't help but honouring Vivienne Westwood, who sadly is no longer with us.

Christmas party

Christmas party

There's no reason to be anxious about dressing up for a Christmas party. Yes, there's a whole world beyond funny jumpers!

Of course, how you dress for this event is highly dependent of the type of event you are attending, the location is always key.

In any case, this is a good time to let your hair down and have fun with work colleagues. Just remember to leave early.

Business lunch

If you have an important business lunch, a smart dress is always a good idea, if you want to look the part.

It's empowering without loosing your sense of femininity. Add statement jewellery to bring the whole look together.

Don't forget sunglasses to keep your makeup untouched by winter winds, and an elegant pair of boots. All the best!

Chic soiree - going out clothing

Chic Soirée

London has amazing places to enjoy yourself, from private members clubs to events by invitation only.

When dancing is on the menu, you can never go wrong with a sequin dress and Tom Ford heels.

Give the whole look a feminine touch with a soft pink bag,. Add a long white coat or cape for leaving the party in style.

Barbie Doll

The upcoming Barbie movie will influence next season's fashion shows. Directed by Greta Gerwig and with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, it will be released in 2023.

The first images went viral in social media, and the colours are vibrant, neon green and bright pink.

This look was inspired by Barbie, sexy and fun. It's perfect for a summer party or a roof terrace cocktail. Enjoy!

Summer Wedding

If you're invited to a summer wedding and are not sure about what to wear, it's good to celebrate love in a colourful way.

Heart-shaped pink sunglasses make the whole look a bit more fun and joyful. But the star is the amazing Fendi dress!

It has a 70s vibe, reminiscent of Halston and Studio 54. Make sure you dance through the night!

Heatwave Style

It's always refreshing to wear white during the summer, especially when going through a heatwave.

White reflects the light and can keep us cool, while also exuding a natural elegance. You can add a splash of a vibrant colour to be a bit more fun.

It's important to protect your skin and also your head, a straw hat is a good choice, as it creates a welcoming shadow around your eyes.

Spring Party

I was walking down the street when I saw this dress on the window display of Stella McCartney.

The photo doesn't do it justice, as it's really much brighter live. This whole look was built around the dress.

It's great for an early evening glass of champagne or watermelon martini, ideally on a roof terrace! Enjoy!

Work Brunch

Just because it's work related it doesn't mean you can't have fun with what you wear!

Inspired by the latest Valentino show, you can add fuchsia pink to feel upbeat and playful. Don't be afraid to mix it up wit other colours.

This is a great outfit for spring, when nature transforms rapidly with flowers blooming everywhere.

Festive season styling

Festive Season

This look is particularly appropriate for the festive season, and can brighten up a winter's evening with its bright colours and feminine accessories.

These boots will definitely be a hit on the dance floor, making any woman feel like a 'dancing queen'.

They match the bows on this beautiful Valentino dress, replicated on the jewellery. What you wear underneath is just as important, so think pink!

Christmas Party

A Christmas party is always a joyful occasion, when people gather with either work colleagues, family or friends for a glass of mulled wine.

Unless required, avoid buying a silly Christmas jumper that you will only wear once a year. You can invest in a warm cape, useful during the whole winter.

Velvet is quite trendy this season, but this beautiful fabric always looks stylish! Add an elegant pair of shoes to complement the look.

Brunch meeting styling

Brunch Meeting

Some women are naturally drawn to nude colours, which are always demure and elegant.

You can add animal print to make the whole look a bit more interesting and fun. This outfit is perfect for a brunch meeting.

The good thing about nude colours is that they are easy to match, so you can definitely create many other looks with them.

Summer Vibes

This look was inspired by the Venice Film Festival, but it's appropriate for an afternoon event with a dress code.

White is a vibrant choice as it has the power to reflect light and make you look dazzling, especially if combined with a beautiful headband.

You can make it even more special with a colourful statement necklace and romantic shoes and clutch bag.

roof terrace drinks styling

Roof terrace drink

The sun is shining and summer is fast approaching, so this is the perfect timing to go out for a drink and enjoy the city views.

This styling story is particularly tailored to a roof terrace scenario, that can be a bit windy and it does get cold in the evening.

You can never go wrong with a white bag when it gets hot, it goes with everything on your wardrobe!

Summer Rain

As the weather becomes more and more unpredictable due to climate change, it's important to consider the protection from elements.

That's a primary function associated with what we wear. Thankfully fashion can turn summer rain into something uplifting.

Warm colours and delicate flower patterns when combined with transparent materials are simply joyful!

Date Night

Wearing a see-through blouse doesn't need to be too revealing, you can put on a nude camisole by La Perla to cover up while sustaining the softness of sheer fabrics.

If this is someone you're already familiar with, it's worth investing in a romantic and sexy lingerie to make you feel feminine.

Enjoy your evening and don't forget to take a short jacket to keep you warm!

Work Meeting

Most work meetings are currently virtual, but if you need to go to the office, make sure you have a bag big enough to carry your laptop.

Soft tones of beige and brown look really good with white, so everything feels earthy but also light.

Add a statement necklace and a stylish pair of boots to bring a daring touch to the whole look.

Valentine's Playfulness

It's always interesting to discover something new about someone you're already quite familiar with.

These Coco de Mer cards have been written by sex expert Susie Bright, and contain ‘Tell Me’ and ‘I Dare You’ options.

Obviously the silk robe is not meant to go over the dress.

New Year's Eve

Unfortunately this year, there are no wild parties nor a midnight kiss amongst cheering crowds and overflowing champagne.

But this doesn't mean there's no dancing! It's definitely worth celebrating being alive and healthy.

It's a more intimate affair but there's still room to be glamorous and joyful... Happy New Year!

Christmas Glamour outfit ideas

Christmas Glamour

Christmas is usually associated with red, but this green dress looks quite festive with golden embellishments.

If you want to stare at the stars in the sky, a velvet cape will keep you warm and you can wear it on many different occasions.

It's elegant and reminiscent of a period drama. Add a velvet bow to your hair with matching feminine shoes to bring everything together.

Autumn Day

Be inspired by nature and the beautiful Autumn colours you see around you in the park, to select the most heart warming pieces for your wardrobe.

Take the opportunity to check what you already have and add up elements to create a colour palette that stimulates your positive mood.

As days get darker we should get lighter, not to match the brightness of summer, but softer hues that are comforting like a warm vegetable soup.

Oscars After Party

Sometimes, it's important to go inside out when preparing a look for an important event.

Sexy lingerie, as French women so well know, is not only playful but boosts your confidence. This one in particular, ensures everything stays in the right place.

A warm and long coat will feel like a warm blanket at the end of the night, and will allow you to leave the party in style.

Back in the Office

If you have been away for a while, it can be challenging to go back to your daily routine of working in the office.

A smart and comfortable style will help you get through the initial nostalgia. Soft and warm colours can go a long way.

Add some playfulness with a more eye catching bag, big enough to carry everything you need for the day.

Evening Event dress

Evening Cocktail

When you know it's going to be an exciting night ahead, it's impossible to go wrong with a little black dress.

A versatile leather headband and beautiful golden earrings will ensure the attention is drawn to your face.

Keep your hair up on a high ponytail and complement the whole look with an eye catching clutch bag.

Lunch Meeting

If you have a lunch meeting coming up and are not sure abut what to wear, it's a good idea to keep it simple.

Soft colours always have a serene allure, that will enable you to remain calm under pressure. Stilettos will facilitate a confident body posture.

Obviously, the main point is to prepare as much as possible to exude confidence from within.

Private Party styling

Private Party

A house with charming high ceiling rooms, secret passages and a long swimming pool, canapés and martinis flowing through the night...

This is the perfect time to shine and enjoy yourself! It's always a good idea to take a white blazer just in case you start feeling cold.

A small clutch bag is the best option to such occasions as you want to dance freely.

Outdoor Event

How to prepare for an outdoor event that starts on a hot afternoon and can carry on until late at night?

Vibrant colours are always a great way to celebrate summer and Richard Quinn has many beautiful patterns to choose from.

This is the best time of the year to wear colourful shoes with a bit of sparkle that will look amazing under the stars.

Afternoon Tea styling

Afternoon Tea

Whether you're meeting a friend or going on a first date, an afternoon tea in a beautiful place always feels like a treat.

Each tier is charged with deliciousness and tea can definitely be swapped by a glass of champagne.

If you're wearing a see through blouse, your lingerie  should be feminine and romantic in such surroundings.

Be my Valentine

You can never go wrong with a classic black and white look! This Mix Mix dress is feminine and the contrast between the bold fabric and traditional shape works really well.

For Valentine's it's imperative to invest in lingerie, as what you wear underneath is just as important for this particular evening.

Add Chanel jewellery for a final touch of glamour. Enjoy your evening!.
