Welcome to my first blog post! I'll share with you whatever is catching my eye lately, on this occasion the black dress. There's nothing quite like a 'little black dress'.
The latest Spring/Summer 2019 catwalk collections were punctuated by sexy and playful versions of this epitome of elegance.
From New York to Paris, all major fashion weeks seem to have portrayed a version of it. My favourite is the one designed by Tom Ford, who somehow is always able to be effortlessly chic.
Tom Ford speaking to British Vogue magazine:
"I feel that fashion has somehow lost its way a bit, and it is easy for all of us to be swept up in trends that have lost touch with what women and men want to actually wear.”
This is so true, we're literally bombarded with far too much fashion information, so much so that it's impossible to keep up with everything.
The trick is to look out for editors and influencers whose style you connect with and follow them, taking into account your own personality and lifestyle.
